Outlook - Encrypting Email
Before You Start
What is email encryption?
When should I use email encryption?
Email encryption should be used when transmitting sensitive information. It is authorized for handling Restricted and Confidential information as defined by the Clark University Data Classification Policy.
Encryption exceptions
It’s important to advise that non-Clark email accounts DO NOT send sensitive information to Clark accounts, since Clark cannot protect the transmission of those messages.
