VLabs - Connect to and Save Files in VLabs
Before You Start
Make sure you’re connected to the internet.
Determine any specific software you’ll need to use once connected.
Connecting
In your internet browser, navigate to https://computerlabs.clarku.edu
Click Sign in with Clark account.
From the Dashboard page, click Maps. It is located in the vertical menu on the left side of the screen.
On the map, you’ll see small circles with numbers in them. These numbers represent the number of available computers at a certain location. Hover over a number to see its specific location.
Click the small arrow icon next to the location name.
Click on the name of an available computer to see its available software.
Once you’ve selected a computer, click Connect.
Enter your Clark account password and click Connect.
Saving Your Work
Warning: Do not save your work to the VLabs computer as they are refreshed and wiped regularly.
Save your work locally to the computer you are connected to via VLabs.
Open an internet browser and navigate to you.clarku.edu
Log in with your Clark account credentials.
Click OneDrive under the Welcome heading at the top of the screen.
Your Clark OneDrive account will open in a new tab. Click the My Files tab on the left side of the screen.
Click the Add new button and select Files upload.
Select your saved files and click Open.
To retrieve the files from your own device, repeat Steps 2-5 to access your OneDrive account.
Disconnecting
Warning: Do not close your VLabs broswer or tab until you have completed the following step.
Log off of the remote machine by clicking the Windows icon, choosing your account icon, and selecting Sign Out.
Close your VLabs browser or tab.
