Account Management - Update Microsoft Account Time Zone

Before You Start

  • Make sure you’re connected to the internet

  • Make sure your phone is nearby, as you may be required to verify your account through MFA

While your computer is likely set to the correct time zone, your account may not be (even if your emails are correctly time-stamped). This can cause issues when attempting to book appointments with professors or colleagues.

Instructions

  1. In your internet browser, navigate to myaccount.microsoft.com

  2. Log in using your Clark account credentials. Verify using MFA if prompted.

  3. Click Settings & Privacy, located in the vertical menu on the left side of the screen.

  4. In the Region section, select Time zone. Click the Change time zone button to select a different time zone. Clark University operates within the Eastern Time Zone for US & Canada.

  5. Once you’ve chosen the correct time zone, click Select. The new time zone will be automatically applied to your account.
