Connecting Your Phone
Connect the Ethernet cable to the yellow LAN port on the back of the phone. This connects your phone to the internet and provides it with power.
Connect headset (optional)
Connect the USB headset to the USB port on the back of the phone.
Sign In to Teams on the desk phone
Sign in manually on desk phone
On the desk phone’s touchscreen, select Sign In on this device to enter credentials manually.
Using the keypad on the desk phone touchscreen, enter your Clark email address and password when prompted.
Sign in using internet browser on computer
If you see the option to Refresh code on the desk phone touchscreen, tap it.
On your computer, open an internet browser and navigate to https://microsoft.com/devicelogin.
Enter the code displayed on the desk phone and then click Next. Please note the code is not case sensitive.
Select your Clark account.
Enter the password to your Clark account and click Sign in.
Once you see a confirmation message, you can close the window on your computer. You are now signed into your Teams desk phone.
Basic Phone Features
Buttons and Navigation
Home Button
Press the home button to return to the main screen from any menu.
Voicemail Button
Access your voicemail directly by pressing the voicemail button. Follow prompts to listen to, delete, or save messages. You’ll also be able to see a transcript of the message and choose to call back.
Hold
Tap Hold to pause the conversation. Tap the hold button again to resume the call.
Transfer
Select Transfer during a call, enter the recipient’s name or number, and confirm. Long pressing the transfer button will give consult and transfer option.
Adjusting Ringtones
Navigate to Settings > Calling>Ringtones.
Customize ringtones for:
Calls for you: Set a distinct ringtone for calls made directly to you.
Forwarded Calls: Set a distinct ringtone for calls made directly to you.
Delegated Calls: Choose a separate ringtone for calls coming in on behalf of someone else.
Making and Managing Calls
Making a Call
From Teams Contacts:
Tap Calls on the home screen and search for a contact.
Direct Dial:
Use the numeric keypad to enter the number and press the call button on the right-bottom corner of the screen.
Receiving Calls
Answering: lift the earpiece to attend the call or choose to attend the call on screen.
Rejecting: Press the red cross in the call notification.
In-Call Features
Mute:
Press the mute button to silence your microphone during a call. Click on it again to unmute your microphone.
The mute icon on the screen will indicate the status.
Hold:
Tap Hold to pause the conversation. Tap again to resume.
Transfer:
Select Transfer during a call, enter the recipient’s name or number, and confirm.
Delegated Calls:
If you manage calls for another person, their incoming calls will appear with their name. You can answer, transfer, or forward the call as needed.
Call Delegation Settings
Configure delegation settings directly on the phone:
Navigate to Settings > manage Delegates.
Add or remove delegates and manage the permissions below for the delegates.
Make calls (To make calls as you)
Receive calls (To receive calls on your behalf)
Change call and delegate settings (add people and edit other settings)

Troubleshooting & Best Practices
Issue | Solution |
Phone not powering on | Check if the Ethernet cable is connected securely to a PoE-enabled port. To enable POE on a port it should be added to a particular VLAN. |
Unable to sign into Teams | Confirm network connectivity and ensure your Teams credentials are accurate/ |
No internet connection / phone screen is normal but not ringing | Reset the connection by unplugging and reconnecting the ethernet connection. If it still doesn’t work. Long pres s the hold button to reset the phone. |
Display is unresponsive | Restart the phone by unplugging and reconnecting the Ethernet cable. |
No sound during calls | Ensure the phone is not muted and verify the handset, speaker, or headset connections. |
Resetting the Phone
Long press hold button for the phone to reset.
Once the reset is done sign back into Teams.
Best Practices
Keep the screen and buttons clean using a soft, lint-free cloth.
Customize your ringtones for better call management, especially if you manage calls for others.
