Make sure you have access to the mailboxes you are attempting to open (check with the mailbox owner or the ITS Help Desk)
Connect to the internet.
Determine which version of Outlook you are using:
Outlook for Windows
Open the Outlook app and click Filetab.
While on the Info tab, click on Account Settings, and then select Account Settings…
An Account Settings page should pop up with several different tabs.
Navigate to the Email taband select New…
An Add Account page should pop up.
Select Email Accountand then click Next.
On the Email Account section, you will see several fields. Fill them in as follows:
Your Name: Put in the name of the group/departmental mailbox
Email Address: Put in the complete email address of the group/ departmental mailbox including @clarku.edu
Password: Leave both of these sections blank
Click on Next.
When prompted, use your Clark credentials (your email address as the username).
Click Finish.
Outlook for Mac
Open the Outlook app.
On the toolbar across the top of your screen, click File, then select Open and Shared Mailbox.
A small window will pop up. Type in the name of the mailbox in the search box at the top.
Click on the correct email address, then click Add.
Outlook will check permissions and then open the mailbox within the Outlook app.

Navigate to your Outlook account.
In the top right corner of your Outlook account, click on your picture or initials.
Select Open another mailbox…
Type in the email address of the group/departmental mailbox.
Click Open. The mailbox will open in a new tab.
