  1. Make sure you have downloaded the Teams app to your computer and sign in with your Clark account.

Entering a Teams Meeting

  1. Click the link provided to you by the meeting host. This will likely be on your Outlook or Teams calendar, or in an email or another communication.

  2. A preview window will appear. From here, you can adjust your camera and microphone.

  3. Click Join.

  4. Depending on the host’s settings, you may be let into the meeting immediately or you may have to wait a few moments before the host lets you in.

  1. Click More in the Teams toolbar displayed along the top of the meeting window.

  2. Use your cursor to hover over Language and speech.

  3. Click Turn on live captions.

Note: This will only turn on captions for you. Other meeting participants can choose to turn on captions for themselves following the same steps.

  1. Click More in the Teams toolbar displayed along the top of the meeting window.

  2. Hover over Record and Transcribe then select Start Recording. Other people in the meeting will be alerted that you have started recording.

  3. To stop recording, repeat Steps 1 and 2, selecting Stop Recording.

  4. A link to the meeting recording will appear in the meeting chat once it has finished uploading. The chat will continue to exist after the meeting has ended.

  5. The host can also find the recording in the Recordings folder of their OneDrive account.
