Before You Start

  • Confirm you have been granted access to a specific printer by the Help DeskHave the printer domain and printer queue name nearby. This information is given to you by the ITS Help Desk.

  • Connect to the internet

Instructions

  1. From the ‘Start’ menu, type in the domain name you were given, which is one of the following:

    1. \\cuprinters.ad.clarku.edu

    ,
    1. \\xerox.ad.clarku.edu

    or
    1. \\printers.ad.clarku.edu

    depending on the domain name you must be given alongside the name of the print queue. Press Enter.
  2. Press Enter on your keyboard

  3. When attempting to connect you need to enter your credentials. First select “More choices” – then select “Use a Different Account”. Now you can enter your University credentials (username@clarku.eduand password) and select “OK”

  4. Enter your Clark account information and select OK to finish.

  5. A window with a list of printers will open

  1. . Locate the name of your print queue (e.g. ASEC_COLOR_MFP_001)

  1. and double click on it to install.

  2. Print a test page to make sure your device is connected to the printer.
